HR-Tech Startup Onboarding Kit — Dubai
A Dubai-based HR-tech startup helping companies manage employee performance and growth. Their onboarding was a Google Doc. The kit needed to feel like the brand — energetic, warm, genuinely excited to have you there. New hires should feel something on Day 1, not just get information.
The kit was built around a mascot character — Nov, a small rocket — to carry warmth through even the practical pages. The 30-day roadmap became four weekly intentions, not a task list. The Meet the Team page included a personal detail for each person alongside their role. Every page — including Tools & Setup — felt like the brand, not like HR paperwork.
A printed booklet and digital PDF that new hires actually want to read. The mascot gave the brand a recurring character that can extend across future internal communications. The Day 1 welcome card was designed to ship with the booklet — making the first moment of employment feel considered.
